THE Embassy of Sweden featured the Fashion Revolution Exhibit at the Northwing Atrium of SM City Cebu.
It featured Swedish brands’ efforts to reduce waste and make fashion more earth friendly. On centerstage were known brands like H&M, Houdini and Baby Bjorn. The items displayed show how much companies can do to be more supportive of ecological balance.
The special guests were Swedish Ambassador Harald Fries, SM Prime Holdings vice president Marissa Fernan, Consul Jose Sala, Anya Lim of Anthill, and H & M Philippines head of communications Dan Mejia. The Fashion Revolution Exhibit was displayed at the Northwing Atrium of SM City Cebu until Sept. 21 and will be at the Cube Wing atrium in SM Seaside City Cebu from Sept. 21 until March 2020. We congratulate SM City for showcasing a new essence in fashion, making it more relevant and innovative.

I was lucky to have won the top prize: a suite for two nights with breakfast from Prince Hotel (where Nelia Neri, the late Renato Osmeña and Francisco Benedicto and I used to stay when we were Cebu City tourism commissioners). I also won gift certificates. The three hotels have 1,459 well-appointed guestrooms and suites with complimentary Wi-Fi and amenities. The three Marco Polo hotels in Hong Kong are part of Wharf Hotels, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Wharf (Holdings) Ltd, a Hong Kong-listed company with core business interests in property and investments in communications and container-terminal operations.
