JERICHO Rosales thrilled Cordova, Cebu as the showbiz icon and certified idol visited sari-sari stores to delight fans and loyal drinkers of San Miguel Pale Pilsen.
Last Sept 28, Saturday, as the iconic beer’s special way of rewarding drinkers in high patronage areas nationwide, Rosales gave out gifts and merchandise while conducting the tour around Barangay Dapitan.
During the press conference, Rosales mentioned that they did the first leg of the tour last year in Davao. He considers this event important as this is to say thank you to sari-sari stores. Aside from this, the tour is one way for the actor to go back to his roots as he personally has fond memories with sari-sari stores.
“Di malayo sakin ang tindahan because naka-experience na din ako ng mga tindahan and bumibili, tumatambay,” shares Rosales.
Rosales also enjoys doing the tours. “It’s fun going around the barangay, taking pictures and saying hello kasi you see them really happy and it makes you really happy as well.”
The future is bright and fans of the A-list actor may just expect to see him do more projects with San Miguel Beer.
“One thing I like about SMB is the core of the brand: Samahang Walang Iwanan. It’s all about family, friends, celebrations.”
