Korean band to heat up Manila this March

KOREAN Super Idol Band UKISS and Premiere Entertainment Philippines, Incorporated (PEP) local entertainment company, are teaming up to drum up the Philippine entertainment market.

PEP announced that UKISS will hold their first official showcase and Mall Tour in Manila on March 27 and 28 and solo concert this June.

UKISS is a multinational and a seven-member South Korean boy band. Its members are Alexander, Kevin, Dong Ho, Eli, Ki Bum, Hyun, Ki Seob.

Unlike other idol group, UKISS members are fluent in English and Chinese. Especially, Alexander was born and grew up in Hong Kong and can speak seven languages fluently including English, Mandarin, and Portuguese.

UKISS made their live debut at “The Second Power of Atamix 08”, which was held in Atami, Japan in August 2008, followed by a successful showcase and fan meeting in Hamamatsucho, Japan.

UKISS has released three single albums since 2008 and a studio album (Without You) on this February 2010. Their first studio/full album is currently ranked first in various music chart.

Furthermore, UKISS was awarded “Best New Artist” at the “Asian Song Festival” during the first year of their debut.

Joong Ku Lee, Chairman of PEP, said “UKISS Concert is "just flare of primer of an upcoming event, which will bring various Korean Stars here in the Philippines.”

PEP has been busy these days to open the liaison office in South Korea and attract other well known Korean entertainers in Philippines such as Big Bang, Wonder Girls, 2NE1 and others for their upcoming events.

PEP is supporting the interactive show business model, for a cultural exchange between Korea and Philippines.
