Elmer's Glue brings slime festival to Clark

INTERNATIONAL glue maker Elmer's hosted a slime festival at a shopping mall in Clark Freeport over the weekend.

Elmer's Glue brought "Slime Time Fair 2019," the biggest slime-making fair in the country, to SM City Clark (SMCK) on September 28 to 29.

Hundreds of young Kapampangans joined the slime-making workshops led by Elmer's slime teachers.

Jade Tulio, marketing director of Elmer’s Philippines, said the slime fair aims for families to bond together and engage kids to physical activities so they would have less time using gadgets like tablets and cellphones.

Tulio said the Philippines is one of the countries in Asia that have joined the slime trend which started in the United States of America.

"Elmer’s is actually the first one ever in Asia to really offer this very big slime event called the 'Grand Slime Time Fair,' it’s the first-ever in Asia and even the slime squad it’s the first ever in Asia and in the Philippines and actually even in the world," Tulio said.

First Slime Squad winners Juliana Cruz from Malolos City and Taryana Aguilar from Quezon City were present during the slime-making workshop at SMCK.

Some of top favorite slimes in the Philippines include unicorn slime, glow in the dark slime, the glitter slime, candy slime and crunchy slime.

Elmer’s Glue variants that are perfect for slime-making are available in the SM stationery section at the SM Store.
