A DRUG BUST in Banangan, Sablan in Benguet resulted in the death of one person.
The operation as conducted Sunday, September 29, by joint operatives of the Provincial Intelligence Branch/Drug Enforcement Unit of the Benguet Provincial Police Office, Sablan Municipal Police, and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
Subject of the operation was Arturo Apolinario Bullo, 46, a resident of Baguio, City.
The suspect was shot dead after he fired at the policemen upon sensing that he was transacting illegal drugs with a police officer. The police officer was unhurt as he was wearing a bullet-proof vest.
Scene of the Crime Operatives recovered from the scene three empty shells of 9mm, three empty shells of caliber .45 pistol, one deformed slug of an unknown caliber, P3,000 marked money, one caliber .45 Colt pistol and one live ammunition, one white motorcycle, one helmet, and two white transparent sachets of substance believed to be shabu.
