Matod ni Bokal Baricuatro nga wagtangon na ang tanang scholarships sama sa Paglaum Scholarship, Cebu Tertiary Education Assistance Program (CTEAP) ug lain pang scholarship alang sa mga Salutatorian.
“Yes mawala gyud, CTEAP, Paglaum ug katong sa Salutatorians. Ang problema lang katong sa Paglaum medyo daghan-daghan mao tong almost a thousand man ata to sila 700 to 1000 ang Paglaum scholars”, matod ni Baricuatro.
Ang karaan nga scholarships tangtangon na ug hiusahon na diin tawgon nga Cebu Provincial Grants Intended for Tertiary Students (CP-Gifts), ordinansa nga gisumiter ni Baricuatro sa Hunta Probinsyal nga nahuman na sa 1st reading.
“Actually na-consolidate na man siya so naa natay bag-o nga ordinance coming which is entitled Cebu Province Gifts or Grants Intended for Tertiary Students. So, yesterday we had it 1st reading sa Provincial Board. And next Monday ato nang ipa second reading and hopefully if there are no changes, ato na ipa third reading para mapasar na para ma implement na nato para next implementation pa school year 2020-2021”, dugang ni Baricuatro.
Ang Paglaum scholarship nga programa naugmad niadtong 2016 ubos sa ordinansa nga gipasar ni kanhi Bise Gobernador Agnes Magpale ug gipatuman ubos sa Provincial Women’s Commission (PWC). (ANV)
