LIFE can be encouraging when you go out with friends on a leisure trip, not in too distant places but in areas where you can easily loosen up and forget about your cares and concerns even for a day or two.

Pressures are everywhere and you don't have any other choice but to accept it and live with it. But taking a good balance is necessary and if there are opportunities to enjoy with friends over luscious foods, intoxicating laughter, and great music, then, you are giving yourself a delightful experience.

In the town of Ilog, Negros Occidental, balsas (small rafts), are used to traverse the river. People started to get curious about them and some try them out for fun. The length of the river would take an hour and a half to be traversed, a good enough distance to enjoy with the company of friends.

The river trip makes people enjoy each other's presence as they partake on seafood and delicacies.

The ambiance is cool with birds flying over the skies as the stretch is colored with the greenery and some trees surrounding the river. Glimpsing on a vast body of water creates a relaxing climate.

Who can resist steamed crabs, adobo, grilled fish, drunken shrimp, grilled pork, appetizers and other local delicacies?

People queue to get foods and feast on them with matching groufie and selfie.

While we were voyaging the river, a local singer Jorj entertained the tourists with her songs.

Check it out on a weekend and experience the same or even more. Nature is fun.
