Tell it to SunStar: To younger cops

I HAPPENED to pass by the Cebu City Police Office at the Camp Sotero Cabahug, and since traffic was stalled for a while, I chanced upon a tarpaulin mounted just right beside the camp’s gate.

The big billboard lists down a good number of things a model policeman should follow, and I noticed that one of those being emphasized is that part where cops should not accept gifts of any kind.

I get the impression that that policy must really be important, considering that it’s one of those being highlited in that tarpaulin.

In the light of questions being asked about the Philippine National Police at the Senate now, I think our younger, untainted cops should reflect on how they can help restore the force’s reputation.
