DINERS are always on the lookout for something new. While we enjoy comfort food, still part of us always wanted to try and taste a different dish from the menu.

This is why exactly Republique Asian Fusion concocted over a dozen of new dishes that their diners can try on the next time they'll visit the restaurant.

These new concept dishes added to their present ala carte menu were launched on September 28, 2019.

Of the new set of dishes introduced, I particularly like the Stir Fried Birthday Noodles, Calamares, and the Local Bird's Nest with Quail Egg soup.

We first tasted the soup and I can say it's a good way to start the feast. For the noodles, it is served generously with scrambled egg, squid, vegetables, and more. Calamares was served last probably because the Republique team wants to save the best for last. What I love about it is it's delightfully spicy.

The Beef Steak with special sauce and fried saba is also a must try, I can confidently share that it's very tender and was properly cooked. I also love that it was served with fried banana on the side.

Other dishes we also enjoyed were the Boneless Lemon Orange Chicken, Republique Spare Ribs, French Beans with Minced Pork or Minced Shrimp, Fried Pompano with House Vinegar and Light Soy, Chicken Pineapple Fried Rice, and Seafood Spinach Thick Soup.

Diners also have an option to order equally-delectable dishes like Steamed Prawns, Fried Pompano with Garlic Chili Sauce, House Special Yang Chow, and Salted Fish Fried Rice.

The new set of dishes is sure another reason why Dabawenyos and tourists should dine here. It lives up to the restaurant's celebration of Asian classics fused into new and exciting flavors.

Republique Asian Fusion is Arcadia's Fusion restaurant located at the 2nd level of Arcadia Active Lifestyle Center. It offers ala carte (lunch: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.; dinner: 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.) and buffet dining (Sundays, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.).

It is open on Tuesdays to Sundays from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. (lunch) and 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. (dinner).

And let me add, the restaurant's interior design, dish presentation, reasonable pricing, and overall ambiance are a plus!
