Hotel, shopping mall in full swing; condo, office towers will rise soon

ROBINSONS Galleria Cebu Complex is shaping up to be the vibrant mixed-use development it has been envisioned to become.

The complex, according to Floramie Adolfo, Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC) senior regional operations manager for Cebu and Eastern Visayas, has been performing well, welcoming more shoppers and guests. Soon, the complex will welcome residents and office workers as it works on completing the master planned integrated project.

The shopping mall Robinsons Galleria Cebu is already in full swing with 92 percent tenant occupancy, while the 220-room Summit Galleria Hotel has been enjoying high occupancy.

The complex, which sits on a 4.6-hectare lot, is designed to be Cebu’s next landmark lifestyle destination developed by RLC.

Aside from the hotel and the mall, the complex will also house the Galleria Residences and a business process management (BPM) office building to complete the integrated development.

“All these come together in a refreshing, cosmopolitan yet laidback environment, seamlessly connected. Offerings are custom-curated, locally relevant concepts from popular homegrown and regional brands to national and international classics,” Adolfo said.

The four-level Robinsons Galleria Cebu is a full-service mall with over 300 tenants. It also has six cinemas equipped with Dolby Atmos.

Aside from its hotel rooms, Summit Galleria Hotels has a grand ballroom that can accommodate up to 750 people. It features an all-day dining outlet named Providore that is run by Raintree Restaurants Philippines.

Condo, office towers

Cebuanos can also expect three residential towers to rise within the complex with Galleria Residences that will have a total of 927 units with a modern resort-inspired design.

“Galleria Residences is strategically located within Cebu’s emerging district with easy access to major thoroughfares,” Adolfo said.

Meanwhile, the BPM office building is also poised to become a major choice for local and foreign companies looking for excellent office spaces.

The building will have a total of nine floors and 20,000 square meters of gross floor area.

All these developments, Adolfo said, are designed to provide a complete experience to people who want to find all they’re looking for in one place.

RLC’s consolidated revenue in the first half of 2019 was up 13 percent to P14.7 billion from P13.10 billion in 2018. (KOC with PR)
