OVER P2 million worth of suspected shabu were seized during a buy-bust operation conducted by the City Drug Enforcement Unit in Barangay Tingub, Mandaue City at around 6 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2019.
The operation was led by Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) Police Major Regino Maramag.
The suspect was identified as Rommel Depariene Llatona, 23, a resident of Barangay Pahina Central, Cebu City.
Recovered from the suspect were six large sachets of suspected shabu weighing at around 300 grams worth P2,040,000, a Dangerous Drugs Board value.
Llatona was detained at MCPO and will face charges for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (ANV of Superbalita Cebu; JGS)
