Sarah G’s new film ‘Unforgettable’ stars actress with pet dog

THE Philippines’ Popstar Royalty, Sarah Geronimo, is back on the big screen with her upcoming movie “Unforgettable.” It is slated to premiere on Oct. 23. This will be Sarah’s first movie for 2019 after her box office hit “Miss Granny” in 2018.

Although the full trailer of the movie is yet to be released, the teaser trailer gives us a short peek on what the movie is all about.

Sarah’s character, together with her dog “Happy,” seems to have lost their way to her sick grandmother in Baguio. Along her journey, she meets and helps Regine Velasquez—whose character is frantically serving restaurant customers all by herself. While the whole plot is yet to be revealed, we know for certain that the film is going to be a tearjerker.

This is the first time that Sarah worked with a dog in a movie. The movie is directed by married couple Jun Robles Lana and Perci Intalan. According to Perci, there were about 20 dogs during the auditions. “Milo,” the dog’s real name, was chosen because of his outstanding energy.

Sarah really had fun working with Milo in every scene they filmed.

“To my surprise, it wasn’t really hard to work with the dog because this one, I think he was an actor in his past life! He’s so professional and he’s able to deliver in every scene from beginning to end,” Sarah shared.

The movie has become a collaborative work between Sarah and the directors. Sarah had her inputs with the character and the directors were just open with her ideas. Despite being a veteran in acting, Sarah was still surprised with the new discoveries she found about herself playing the role.

The trailer also gives viewers a hint that the movie is going to be star-studded. Other stars expected to appear in the movie: Anne Curtis, Yayo Aguila, Meg Imperial, Ara Mina, Kim Molina and Gina Pareño.
