THE Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental is offering the public a free renewal of licenses for gun or firearm ownership starting Tuesday, October 8 until Thursday, October 10.
Governor Yevgeny Vincente “Bambi” Emano has established a one-stop-shop for the public to easily process the requirements from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Philippine National Police (PNP), among other offices.
For the new applicants, bring the following:
1. Filled-out notarized LTOPF Form
2. NBI Clearance
3. City/Municipal Police or DI or RID Clearance
4. Valid government identification card (photocopy)
5. Proof of billing or Barangay Clearance
6. NSO Birth Certificate or Passport or local CR
7. Proof of Income/Income Tax Resort/Land Title/Certificate of Bank Deposit/Certificate of Employment;
Meanwhile for those who want to renew their license, bring the following requirements:
1. Filled-out Notarized LTOPF Form
2. NBI Clearance
3. City/Municipal Police or DI/RID Clearance
“Pahimuslan nato ang talagsa-ong kahigayunan aron mahupay ang mga kabalaka nga mahimong loose firearm ang mga armas nga walay lisensya,” he said.
