Amanda’s Marine Products was recognized as the third 2018 Likha Top Seller and Likha Gem Award for Bataan.

The local smoked fish and bagoong manufacturing business has generated about P2.1 million out of more than P63.5 million sales from last year’s 167 participating MSMEs in the region.

Amanda Battan, owner of Amanda’s Marine Products, expressed her gratitude for the continuous exposure provided by DTI.

“I was surprised and at the same time thankful for receiving these awards which I really did not expect,” she said.

Meanwhile, Khalimah Handicrafts and Souvenirs was conferred with the Green Product Award.

Business owner Marlon Pabustanwas was also delighted after receiving the award that recognizes eco-friendly products showcased in the annual trade fair.

His products were home decors and novelty items made from bamboo that promote the culture of Bataan.

The two awardees join a total of 22 MSMEs in Bataan participating the trade fair, which will be open until Sunday, October 6, at SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City. (PR)
