THE University of Bohol (UB) barely broke a sweat in defeating Cristal e-College (CeC), 107-53, in the Seniors division of the Bohol Schools Athletic Association Season 9 basketball tournament at the Holy Name University in Tagbilaran City on Friday, October 4, 2019.
Jared Romel Bolos spearheaded UB’s attack as he piled up 18 points, three rebounds, four assists and two steals to help his team even up their record at 2-2 and send CeC down to 2-4 (win-loss).
In the Juniors division, the Bohol Wisdom School (BWS) gave CeC its second loss of the day, winning over the latter, 70-57.
Vince Animas nearly had a double-double as he had 15 points and eight rebounds to go with two assists, two blocks and five steals. More importantly, it raised BWS’ record to 2-1 while CeC dropped to down to 2-4. (SunStar Cebu)
