4 houses damaged by thunderstorm

AT LEAST four houses in Mexico town were reportedly damaged during a thunderstorm in Pampanga on Thursday, October 3, 2019.

The damaged houses are all located in Barangay San Jose Matulid in Mexico, the Pampanga Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office reported.

The PDRRMO also noted in its report that the local government of Mexico was still assessing the scope of damage while also preparing assistance for the affected families.

Aside from this, the disaster management office reported that two trees were uprooted near the circumferential road in Porac town during the said weather disturbance.

Clearing operations were conducted so as not to inconvenience motorists in the area.

The said incident happened amid the massive power outage experienced in several towns in the province due to the thunderstorms.
