TASK Force Davao (TFD) lauded the recent survey conducted by the University of Mindanao-Institute of Popular Opinion (UM-IPO) showing "peace and order" as the most popular program of the City Government of Davao which received a high satisfaction rating.

Colonel Consolito Yecla, TFD commander, thanked the Dabawenyos for the continued support for their peace and order programs and initiatives to sustain the peaceful condition of the city with the implementation of several policies like the No Backpack Policy, No Jacket Policy, among others.

It can be recalled that for the past months, TFD has undertaken several security measures like the installation of new equipment at three fixed checkpoints in Lasang, Calinan, Toril, and at the Davao City Overland Transport Terminal (DCOTT).

The task force also implemented maximum security measures in areas of convergence.

The survey conducted by the UM-IPO from July 23 to August 9 asked 1,200 respondents about their awareness, availment, and satisfaction of the 67 projects and programs of Davao City and Task Force Davao.

Survey results showed that in general, the peace and order program is the most popular among all the programs with 80 percent awareness, followed by pet vaccination (66 percent), family welfare and nutrition (61 percent), tourism (56 percent), and infrastructure (54 percent).

"While the Dabawenyos do not particularly know the programs of TFD, DCPO (Davao City Police Office), and Davao City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO), people vetted positively because of the peace and order that they experience," the survey said.

TFD has the highest availment rate of those who are aware of the project with an 85-percent rating and 92-percent satisfaction rating together with DCPO.

"TF Davao will continue to make itself felt in the checkpoints and other critical areas 24-7. TF Davao personnel are now more inspired to work harder for all DavaoeƱos," Yecla said.
