SUNSTAR Cebu and Superbalita Cebu won nine out of 11 prizes in the print category of the 19th Cebu Archdiocesan Mass Media Awards (Camma) held on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019 at SM Seaside City Cebu.
SunStar Cebu won in five out of the seven categories: Best in Editorial Writing, Best in Editorial Cartooning (Josua Cabrera), Best in Column Writing (Melanie Lim), Best in Special Reporting or Investigative Writing (Cherry Ann Lim) and Best in Photojournalism (Alex Badayos)
SuperBalita Cebu bagged citations in Editorial Writing, Feature Writing (Sheila Gravinez), News Writing (Sheila Gravinez) and Special Reporting or Investigative Writing (Sheila Gravinez).
May Miasco of The Freeman was named Best in News Writing, while Ador Vincent Mayol of Cebu Daily News was Best in Feature Writing.
Awards were also handed out in the advertising, radio and TV categories. (KFD)
