Popo Nieves led five different players in double-figures for the Techxperts, with 18 points while Glenn Casuco had 16 points, four rebounds and three assists.
In other matches in the league founded and organized by PAREF-Springdale head coach Jabby Bautista, NMax defeated Scoregasm, 76-66, while the Snipers won over the Enablers, 83-70.
Dubbed “Stronger at Five,” this season of the MCBL has attracted a total of 42 teams which have been divided into six different brackets. Teams will play a single round-robin in their bracket, with the top seed advancing to the semifinals outright.
The champion squad will be receiving P15,000, championship t-shirts and caps from New Era.
