Former University of the Visayas standout Randy dela Pisa and ex-University of San Jose-Recoletos Jaguars wingman Tricky Peromingan had 19 and 18 points, respectively, to give San Remigio the victory. JL Manila also scored in double-figures with 12 markers.
Silogan ni Gian, which fell to 3-4 this season, got 14 points from James Cabilino and 12 apiece from Rommel Luceno and Hans Cabrera.
In the other game, the Spartans ram amok over the Rams, 85-62, to push their win-loss record to 4-3.
Rex Tuazon and Michael Balankig scored 24 and 20 points, respectively, for the Spartans, which broke the game wide open in the third with a 24-12 run that built a 60-45 lead with just 10 minutes left to play.
