JULIUS Cajis emerged champion in the Datba weekly tournament held Tuesday evening, October 8, at the SM Lanang Premier Bowling Center in Lanang, Davao City.
Cajis, whose handicap is 30, hit a total of 565 pinfalls after three games in the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba)-organized competition that serves as qualifying for the monthly finals.
Ivan Awid, with a handicap of 20, settled for the runner-up honors by toppling 555 pins in the 13-player tournament.
The top two players received P900 and P400, respectively.
Last Saturday, October 5, Arthur John Galendez (13) emerged champion by striking for 668 pinfalls in three games while Richard Arigo (23) was second with 611 pinfalls and Rod Tongo placed third with 583. They also received cash prizes.
Weekly qualifying games are scheduled tonight at the same venue. (MLSA)
