Most wanted person in Bacolod arrested

THE most wanted person in Bacolod City was arrested by operatives of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) Intelligence Unit in Barangay Banago, Bacolod City, on Saturday, October 12.

The suspect was identified as Joe John Villar, 32, a resident of Purok Sibucao, Barangay Banago.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Pico, spokesperson of BCPO, said Villar was arrested by virtue of arrest warrant for the crime of murder at about 5:30 a.m.

The arrest warrant was issued by Judge Eduardo Sayson of Regional Trial Court Branch 54, Bacolod City, with no bail recommended.

The suspect is detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 4 and will be endorsed to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).

Also on the same day, a theft suspect was arrested by a security guard at Unitop, Gonzaga Street, Barangay 12, Bacolod City.

Police identified the suspect as Sylvester Donasco, 18, of San Dionisio, Barangay Granada, Bacolod City.

Pico said the suspect was arrested after he was caught stealing assorted t-shirts worth P1,451.

The suspect is detained at the custodial facility of Police Station 1 and is facing with theft charges.
