SO MANY Yuletide-related events are lined up, and it’s time to balance our schedules!
Waterfront Airport Hotel and Casino will have its Christmas Tree lighting on Nov. 4. Expect the usual glitters and frolicking! Seda Ayala Center Cebu will celebrate “Feliz: A Holiday Journey” on Oct. 24.
Cebu’s hotels and restaurants are preparing meaningful celebrations by tying up with foundations and charitable groups to offer Christmas cheers for children.
Speechcom, and the University of San Jose-Recoletos’ Dramatics and Cultural Ensemble and Amparito L. Lhuillier Educational Foundation alumni, will share goodies, shirts and cultural costumes with Barangay Kamagayan and other small communities this Christmas. WeCare Foundation will do the same, and president Ramon Sebastian is working on this with the members. I am sure president Ria Espina of IBP Cebu has planned a Yuletide sharing as well. The academe will always be the lead institution to spend the holidays meaningfully. Christmas is all about sharing, and we hope, that the spirit of Christmas goes on every day so love goes on and on.
