Lubao mayor reports accomplishments in first 100 days

LUBAO Mayor Esmeralda Pineda on Monday, Ocober 14, 2019, highlighted the gains made by her administration in the first 100 days of office.

Under Pineda’s leadership, the town was able to formulate its recent executive-legislative agenda for the town’s development.

Pineda said that the first month of her administration saw business tax collection increase to P1.005 million for the whole month of July.

This was the town’s biggest monthly collection since 2011. This was followed with P800,540.50 for the month of August.

“This is the result of our renewed information campaign and our constant reminder to businessmen on the obligation to the town,” Pineda said. This town’s treasury office had led the inspection of 340 business establishments in the town.

In the field of health, Pineda said that the town has been devoting considerable funding for local health programs in support of the commitments made by former Lubao Mayor Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab and Governor Dennis Pineda.

The municipal health office has allotted some P2 million from July to present.

Some P870,000 has been given to people needing maintenance drugs and P190,000 for laboratory tests. /More than P1 million was also given to financial assistance to indigents, medicines for diabetic patients and dialysis treatment.

The town has also been looking after tuberculosis patients.

Pineda also highlighted the gains of her administration in local environment, sanitation, eco tourism, livelihood nutrition and others.

The lady mayor broke into tears when she acknowledged the support given to her by the Pineda family.

She lauded her father and mother for consciously supporting her administration.

More than P6 million worth of eyeglasses, dentures and other support had already been given to locals with the support of the mayor’s family.

The mayor thanked all department heads and employees of the municipal government in helping realize the achievements in her first 100 days in office.
