Businessmen, investors to join Central Luzon expo

BUSINESSMEN, investors and jobseekers are expected to join the upcoming Central Luzon Expo here.

The expo, organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Central Luzon Growth Corridor Foundation Inc., will be held at the Asean Convention Center from October 17 to 18, 2019.

The Department of Tourism and the Department of Labor and Employment are also partners in the expo.

Aside from the seven provincial pavilions and provincial investment presentations highlighted in the expo, a job fair will be held to cater to jobseekers from the Central Luzon.

Another important part of the event is the conduct of business matching sessions among the invited companies. These include on-site meetings between investment specialists of the seven provinces and would be investors from the private sectors.

The expo is seen to further enhance the position of Central Luzon as a top investment destination in the country.

The expo will also feature a procurement matching activity for local businesses to increase the engagement of micro small and medium enterprises in the region as distributors or suppliers to bigger companies.

To help local MSMEs in the region gain an update of the current industry situation in Central Luzon, an investment forum will also be done to present the industries, investment areas available and trends in the industry.

The Central Luzon Expo, with the theme "Central Luzon: Opportunities, Progress, The Future," is intended to showcase the region as a key growth region in the areas of trade, tourism and investments.

Local government officials and top officials of national government agencies are also expected to join the expo.
