Jollibee launches 1st ‘self-ordering kiosk’ in the Visayas

FANS of Jollibee in Cebu can now skip the long queues and order their favorite “langhap-sarap” meals, as the Jollibee branch in Ayala Center Cebu launched the first self-ordering kiosk in the Visayas last Oct. 15.

The well-loved fast food brand introduced its newest innovation through touch-to-order system self-ordering kiosks to provide a more convenient customer experience.

“This is part of Jollibee’s commitment to continuing to delight our customers and enhancing our customer experience,” said senior trade marketing manager of Jollibee Visayas, Trisha Raffiñan.

The self-ordering kiosks are tailor-fit to have a user-friendly interface for the customers’ convenience. With these self-ordering kiosks, customers can skip the queues and have their favorite meals in three easy steps.

First, a customer needs to touch the screen and the menu will pop up showing Jollibee’s food choices. He can select whether to have his order for dine-in or take-out. Next, one basically orders what he wants. Once he is done, the screen will show the list of orders for review. After then, he may proceed with the payment. One can opt to pay via credit or debit card in the payment terminals available in the kiosk or pay with cash at the counter.

Aside from the digital kiosks, Jollibee also introduced its newest Overhead Transport System for take-out orders. Mia Ali Faridoon, Trade Marketing, Jollibee, said that Jollibee SM Seaside City Cebu is already preparing to launch this innovation.

Jollibee plans to end the year with 75 stores in the Visayas, launching branches in Central Bloc and Plaza Independencia. She also revealed that Jollibee will be releasing its newest product, Buko Pie, on Oct. 28.
