CLARK FREEPORT -- Four persons were killed in a car crash Tuesday, October 15, at an accident-prone area along M.A. Roxas Avenue, the Freeport's main road.

The Traffic Management Section (TMS) of the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) Public Safety Division identified the fatalities as Jerome M. Paeste, 31, driver; and passengers Jan Lionel N. Laiz, 31; Jannelle C. Obar, 26; and Michelle R. Rodriguez, 24.

The victims are all gaming employees of D Heights (formerly Clark Sun Valley) Resort and Casino.

The TMS stated that the accident occurred at the in-bound lane or U-turn slot in front of Omni Aviation.

The CDC Public Safety Division turned over the case to the Mabalacat City Police Station for follow-up investigation.

Netizens suggested that more lights and warning signs should be installed in the area, which they described as accident-prone.

The CDC Traffic Management Section had reduced the speed limit along M.A. Roxas Avenue to 60 kilometers per hour following several accidents along the Freeport's main thoroughfare.
