IT WILL now be easier for Cebu Pacific passengers to rebook their flights as the low cost carrier (LCC) introduces the CEB Flexi.

Cebu Pacific Corporate Communications director Charo Logarta Lagamon, during a media roundtable at Rekado, Davao City on Tuesday evening, October 15, said CEB Flexi will allow passengers to change flights without any penalties up to two times and change up to two hours before departure of the original flight.

“People want options, people need flexibility to fly when they want. Reality is that passengers feel anxious when they are booking flights because there are so many things beyond their control,” Lagamon said.

She said the current booking policy of Cebu Pacific is you can rebook regardless of ticket type. Rebooking fee would range between P1,500 to P2,800 per way and fare difference would apply.

Lagamon said the common feedback they get from their current policy is passengers would prefer to buy a new flight than to rebook.

In response to this feedback, Cebu Pacific has introduced the CEB Flexi, which is 60 percent cheaper than regular booking fees and passengers will pay only the difference in fare. Rebooking fee under CEB Flexi is now at P499 to P1,099 per way.

Lagamon said starting October 22, CEB Flexi will be available for new bookings made through cebupacificair.com or mobile app. However, she pointed out that all new flights booked will now be non-refundable.

“If you forget to buy CEB Flexi, the current rebooking policy is still there. This one is an insurance that whatever happens you can rebook your flight,” Lagamon said.

She said this can be bought at the point of booking. CEB Flexi is not available in managed booking and when you call customer service. This is also not available when booking through travel agents.

“Low fares are not enough. We really need to focus on what our customers need,” Lagamon said.
