THE funds for the additional bonus of capitol employees which is usually released every month of December is available.
This was assured yesterday by Provincial Budget Officer Jose Percival Salado although he could not yet determine the amount.
Salado also said that extra bonus would depend on the award received by the province usually the Excellence Award which is usually given on November.
Last year each capitol employee received P80,000 as extra bonus on top of their 14th month pay.
The 14th month pay will be released on November 15, Salado said.
Under the DBM Circular, the awards received by the specific local government unit is their basis for the determination of the amount of extra bonus given to the employees depending on their respective savings. (TDE)
