Rebooking flight tickets made better: Cebu Pacific introduces ‘CEB Flexi’

TRAVELING is one of the sweetest escapes one can take to relax from a stressful week of working. Although traveling is often expensive, most people book tickets in advance to take advantage of great deals on seat sales and other promos. Unfortunately, travel plans are sometimes affected when vacation leaves at work are not approved, urgent last-minute meetings come up or unpredictable weather patterns make planning a hassle. These are some of the circumstances that are beyond people’s control. When this happens, rebooking flights is necessary.

Good news then, as the Philippines’ leading carrier, Cebu Pacific, introduces its newest service: CEB Flexi. This is an add-on service that provides travelers the flexibility to rebook their flights up to two times, for a lesser price regardless of the ticket type.

Cebu Pacific corporate communications director Charo Logarta Lagamon, announced during a media roundtable at Harolds Hotel, Cebu City on Oct. 16, that CEB Flexi will be available starting Oct. 22. The add-on service acts like a booking insurance, where passengers can change their flights without any penalties two hours before departure of the original flight.

Lagamon revealed that with their current policy, passengers would rather buy a new ticket than to rebook. Taking this into consideration, Cebu Pacific created CEB Flexi which will be 60 percent cheaper than the regular booking fees. Rebooking fee under CEB Flexi is now at P499 for domestic flights, P799 for short haul international flights and P1,099 for long haul international flights. CEB Flexi can be purchased during booking through www.cebupacificair.com or its official mobile app.
