TO GUIDE small and medium business in Cebu in their digital transformation journey that will connect them to a larger market, APPTechnology Experts Inc. has launched its complete digital solution products.

Maribeth Baba, managing director of APPTech, said they are offering a unified system that improves everyday operations of businessses and at the same time comes up with better data that they could use for their expansion efforts.

“Usually the small to medium-sized enterprises don’t have a system that they can use to run their operations. They use the manual or several systems that are not integrated. It would mean that there is redundancy of work and at the end of the day, the management or the owner will not be able to make a sound decision because they don’t have the right data,” Baba told SunStar Cebu.

APPTech offers SAP Business ByDesign, a solution that can help run businesses on a cloud-native application.

“It’s an enterprise resource planning solution that they can use properly to serve their customers better so they can achieve their targeted growth,” she said.

Baba said Cebu’s development continues at a fast rate driven by the transformation of the Mactan-Cebu International Airport which is linking Cebu to potential investors in the region and abroad.

“The development is non-stop. Even major telecommunication companies are putting up data centers here. It’ll be soon that fast internet connection will follow which is the requirement for the system,” she said.

Baba said Cebu is in a strategic position being the gateway to the Visayas and Mindanao.

Among AppTech’s clients in Cebu are real estate, franchising, retail and manufacturing firms.

“The businesses are open now to technology because the market is getting younger. And I think they realized that they cannot grow if they still use the manual way. This is where we can help. We provide the technology, and with this, they can connect the people via the processes,” she said.

Aside from the customers, Baba said it is also important for the employees to be working in a company that’s investing in technology to improve their processes. JOB
