SM CITY Clark recently held the Bonsai exhibit at the ground level of SM City Clark. Some 280 bonsai plants were on display.
SM City Clark mall manager Jerwin Jalandoni said: “We are so proud that Bonsai exhibit is held here at SM City Clark. Bonsai lovers are all invited to see this. There are I think 280 bonsai plants in this exhibit.”
The Olarte family is one of the participants in this year’s exhibit.
Their Bonsai local name is gumamela or Hibiscus in its scientific name.
The owners are Jo Ocampo, Jel Olarte, and Joel Olarte, collectively known as Triple J Bonsai Garden.
The Bonsai artist is Allen Bunag.
This Bonsai plant has already won a bronze award in its previous competition.

Asiel Enterprises, one of the biggest industrial laundry providers in the City of San Fernando, lauded its employee named Danah Ledesma for returning cash worth P25,000.
In January 2019 at around 10 a.m., Danah was folding bed sheets from Angeles University Foundation Hospital, which is one of its valued clients.
While folding the sheets, she found out an opaque plastic sandwich wrapper inside one of the sheets. She then, returned it to her immediate boss.
Asiel Enterprises laundry manager Zen Tagudar narrated: “Hindi namin agad nakita na pera ang laman nun. Kasi yung plastic hindi siya clear. Akala namin sandwich siya na napipi. Nagulat na lang kami nung buksan namin at makitang pera ang laman. Yun binilang namin P25,000 siya na tig-500 bills. So, ang ginawa namin ay agad kaming nakipagugnayan sa AUF hospital para maisoli ang pera.”
Which only proves that the culture of honesty is truly present at Asiel enterprises.
