MATHESS Domino struck for 206 pinfalls after two games to emerge the ladies division champion of the SBC Bowler of the Week tournament held at the Fairlanes Bowling Center.
Domino bested Neneng Clearly, who hit 186 pinfalls in the meet organized by the Sunday Bowlers Club.
Veteran Nonoy Calida bagged the class A title over Jojo Gonzaga, Vic Pusod and Senen Maligang who wounded up in the next three spots. Calida rolled 241 pins while Gonzaga scored 237 and Pusod garnered 225. Maligang made 222 pinfalls.
In class B, Ping Efondo amassed 245 to rule over Che-Che Calida (241), Oca Aplicador (219) and SBC president Emie Orteza (215).
Jayve Baluyot copped the class C crown by hitting 238 pinfalls while Jimmy Ranis and Nick Lobetania scored identical 216 to share the second and third place. Rey Paloso came foruth with 208.
The champions received cash prizes and booked slots to the monthly championships.
SBC, meanwhile, is all set to hold the 7TH Mayor Rody and Vice-Mayor Inday Sara Duterte Open Bowling Tournament set on March 18 at Fairlanes.
A total cash prize of P25,000 will be up for grabs in the tournament. MLSA
