Guv to reveal 'first 100 days' milestones October 22

NEGROS Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson is expected to reveal the "milestones" of his administration in his first 100 days report Tuesday, October 22.

Lawyer Rayfrando Diaz, provincial administrator, said that Lacson will make his report to the people of Negros at the regular session of the Provincial Board Tuesday, October 22.

"I won't preempt the governor but most of the departments have submitted milestones for the first 100 days of the Governor," Diaz said.

He said one of the moves done by the Lacson administration is the setting up of new procedures that cut the processing of documents from one month before to one day or even half day now like the release of financial assistance.

" Different committees have been set up to set everything moving," Diaz said.

The governor is ready with his report, Diaz said.

He also bared that under the Lacson administration, external ties have been established for the smooth operations especially on implementing projects.

Projects for next year have already been identified in the Annual Investment Plan and the governor is expected to reveal Tuesday projects that will have greater impact for the people of Negros under the new budget.

Lacson has submitted to the Provincial Board for approval a proposed budget for year 2020 amounting to P4.4 billion.
