Murcia cop relieved over 'messy' station

THE chief of police of Murcia town was immediately relieved from his post after a surprise inspection of Police Regional Office-Western Visayas (PRO-6) saw the cop’s "messy" police station. Police Colonel Romeo Baleros, Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) Director, confirmed Tuesday, October 22, that Police Major Roberto Indiape was relieved from his post after PRO-6 director Police Brigadier General Rene Pamuspusan paid a surprise visit to the Murcia police station and found pillows and laundry strewn all over the station's finance office. Aside from Indiape, two other police officers were also relieved from their posts after they were identified as the owners of the pillows and laundry. Baleros said the two cops will be transferred to the Hinoba-an and Candoni police stations, while Indiape was re-assigned to the NOPPO headquarters in Bacolod City. Pamuspusan also inspected the police stations in La Castellana, Binalbagan, Moises Padilla, and La Carlota City. During his visit in La Carlota City, Pamuspusan also gave the "Medalya ng Papuri" award to the local police station for maintaining cleanliness.
