WE HAVE businesses in Malate and I love going to the area especially now that Manila Bay is ridiculously clean. I am just one of the fans of Yorme, who is cleaning up Manila like there is no tomorrow. Another thing about Manila is that the hideous neon lights of the Manila city hall are now gone. Thank goodness!
I am going to let you in on a secret -- when I am in Malate area, one of my favorite places to go to is New World Hotel. This hotel used to be the former Hyatt which was right in front of Don Henricos. Now, it is an entertainment hotel with fantastic restaurant outlets especially Li Li, which is one of my favorite places to go to when I am craving Chinese food.
And the secret is -- there is an All You Can Eat Dimsum at Li Li featuring a selection of over 30 bite-sized goodness freshly made by the restaurant’s dim sum masters. This is only available lunch hour from Monday to Sunday, 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at P1,088 nett per person, where you can indulge in steamed, deep-fried and baked dim sum that will surely leave you full you would not be able to do anything afterward. The dim sum eat all you can is so good that you are guaranteed to have a food coma after.
I also must say that Li Li's ambiance is still as classy as ever. Great price point for a luxury hotel, so go to the hotel to have a taste of fine dining at an affordable price. There is no word if this is just a promotion or if it will be a mainstay every lunch, so I suggest you go NOW to enjoy all the authentic Cantonese yum cha you can have.
