Villanueva: Fame Baguio 2019

THE 2019 Fame: Fashion and Model Enthusiasts of Baguio, outstanding young professionals were recognized and awarded during the Fame fashion ball that was held last October 20 at the Venus Hotel Grand Ball Room. The list comprised of Roxanne Baeyens, model and beauty queen. Titles garnered include Miss Tourism and Culture Universe 2019 as 1st runner-up, Face of Tourism Philippines 2019 as winner, Miss Silka Philippines 2018 as 1st runner-up and Miss Silka Baguio 2018 as winner; Neeve Comanda, model and beauty queen.
Titles garnered include Reyna ng Aliwan 2019 as winner, and Miss Baguio Tourism 2018; Ernest Tumanut, Model. Ernest graduated as Cum Laude in Management Accounting from the Saint Louis University this 2019. He is also a member of the university varsity and the NJFPIA Mr. Ambassador of Goodwill 2017 Region 1 CAR winner; Joemay Leo, Model, Beauty Queen and Public Servant.
Joemay has garnered the titles of Miss Cordillera 2016 as winner, and Miss Benguet 2014 as 1st RU. Khimee Kimverly, Hair and Makeup Artist, Stylist and Vlogger. Khimee is a Tesda-Certified HMUA. She also won in the Maquillage Hair and Makeup Competition in 2017 and emerged as the winner; Krizia Guevara, is a well-respected and sought after professional hair and makeup artist; Peter Styles is a renowned fashion stylist, hair and makeup artist, modeling coach and handler; Karu Villanueva, Fashion Designer and Media Practitioner.
Karu is also the co-founder of the Fashion Association of Baguio Inc., the Co-founder and Publisher of Osharé Fashion and Lifestyle Magazine, and also the producer of Osharé Community News; and Michael Patacsil, a hair and makeup artist, beauty queen talent manager/maker. Michael heads the list as the top awardee.
Congratulations to all the awardees and kudos to the organizing committee of FAME Baguio headed by Ar. Jonard Don Jardenil. Among those who were witnesses to this day of history in the fashion industry were FAB Inc. Youth Pres. King George Bueno, Derrich Inway, Josef Lopez, Shauna Curran, Karen Anton and yours truly.
Among the attendees were De Stijl Image Reinvented, Likha Models Ph (Anne Abellada), Laferb Modeling Management (Alex Hornbuckle, Fashion Lab (Julienne Paran), Tiara’s (Jem Lictao) and Royalty Modeling Management (Ash Quinto), Signature Models Ph (Peter Styles), Fayre (Ariezz Lozano) and Topline Models (Jan Yvan Saquilayan). The master of ceremonies were Ar. Jonard Don Jardenil and Mai Gumaya. Documentation by Josef Lopez, Michael Bactad, Ronald de Leon, Santi Ramos, Macky Benj, Baguio City Guide and Osharé.
