“For year 2020, I am proposing a total budget of P2.5 billion,” the mayor said during his recent meeting with the Rotary Club Cluster 3-C at Rib Eye Function Hall.

Lazatin said he is eyeing Angeles to be the “most caring city” under his watch.

The mayor said he will allocate P200 million for the improvement of the Ospital Ning Angeles (ONA).

“I want every Angeleño to have access to free yet quality medical attention. I want this city to be branded as the most caring city under my watch,” he added.

Lazatin said that a big chunk of the proposed budget will be spent on social projects – P20 million for livelihood of farmers, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and solo parents; P10 million for social pension of senior citizens; P3 million for social pension of solo parents; P12 million for feeding programs of undernourished children and day care students.

The mayor also bared other programs on education, peace and order, and illegal drugs.

Lazatin underscored the need to provide his constituents quality services.

“I appeal to all of you to help and trust my administration. For I vow that I will lead this city to progress, where the marginalized, the middle class and rich can build a better future together,” he said.
