THE low pressure area (LPA) that was spotted off Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur will bring scattered rains and thunderstorms over the Visayas, Palawan, and Occidental Mindoro, the state weather bureau said Sunday afternoon, October 27.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration was seen 85 kilometers east southeast of Hinatuan as of 3 p.m., Sunday.
In its 6 p.m. weather forecast, Pagasa said, "Moderate winds from the east to northeast will prevail over Pawalan and Occindetal Mindoro with moderate seas," adding that, "Light to moderate winds from the Southeast to Northeast will prevail over the Visayas with slight to moderate seas."
