PRO-Central Luzon to deploy 6,000 cops during Undas

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga -- At least 6,000 policemen will be deployed on Wednesday in seven provinces and two cities in Central Luzon in line with the annual observance of All Saints’ and Souls’ Day.

Brigaider General Leonardo Cesneros, acting Officer-In-Charge of Police Regional Office (PRO)-3, said he has directed provincial and city police directors to dispatch their personnel in the different cemeteries in their respective areas of responsibility.

Cesneros said policemen will also be deployed to different transport terminals in a 24 hour basis.

“This to ensure “zero crime incidents” during the entire observation of Undas 2019,” he said.

Cesneros said PRO3 will establish Motorist Assistance Centers with Road Safety Marshals in major thoroughfares and secondary roads in the region to secure and assist motorists.

“I have directed our Provincial/City police directors to continuously conduct police focused operations and sustain the level of alertness and vigilance to ensure maximum police presence in all places of convergence including churches so as to assure our public of a safe and secure Undas 2019,” he said.

Starting today, all PRO3 personnel will be on full alert status, he said.
