CDC, various locators donate medical assistive devices

CLARK Development Corporation (CDC), in partnership with its various locators and local government units (LGUs) recently donated medical and assistive devices to selected beneficiaries of nearby communities in Clark Freeport.

In an event with a theme "Wheelchair, Medikal na Kagamitan at Saklay Kaagapay sa Bagong Buhay" held at the Clark Skills and Training Center, a total of 101 medical and assistive devices, including adult and pedia wheelchairs, nebulizers, crutches, glucometer sets, digital sphygmomanometers, infrared thermometer, walking canes, and walker, were distributed to beneficiaries from Angeles City, Mabalacat City, Porac, Bamban, Capas and Concepcion, Tarlac.

During the event, CDC vice president for Administration and Finance Mariza Mandocdoc said the activity is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility program of the state-owned firm, which aims to extend help and support to its nearby communities.

"We want to be a caring organization at makatulong sa mga komunidad," she said.

Together with their partner locators, the CDC External Affairs Department headed by assistant vice president Rommel Narciso led the distribution of the devices.

Meanwhile, CDC chairman Jose De Jesus, Capas Mayor Reynaldo Catacutan, Angeles City Representative Raffy Angeles, and Bamban Representative Carlito Policarpio were also present during the activity.

Partner locators who extended support for the project are SMK Electronics, Genesis Transport Services Inc., The Plus Massage, PacketHub, Taiyo Nippon Sanso, Teledata Global Solutions, Filinvest Cyberzone, LWA Properties Corp., Genuine Italy Inc., Environment Solutions Export & Import Corp., Widus Foundation Inc. and Tesoros, among others.
