THE PMI Colleges Bohol Navigators extended their winning run to eight games after they blew away the Tagbilaran City College (TCC), 116-75, in the seniors division of the Bohol Schools Athletic Association Season 9 at the University of Bohol Gym in Tagbilaran City on Monday, October 28, 2019.

Arvin Bitad proved to be the Navigators’ sharpest weapon against TCC as he collected 30 points, four rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block to lift PMI to an immaculate 8-0 win-loss record.

Oriel Niones provided ample back-up with his 15 points, while Marjoe Enguito added 12 markers.

TCC hung tough in the early goings and was down by just seven, 25-32, after the opening period. However, the bottom suddenly fell off for TCC in the face of PMI’s incredible 84-48 blast in the final 30 minutes of play.

The loss pulled TCC down to 0-5.

Meanwhile, in the Juniors division, PMI eked past the Mater Dei College, 100-97, for its second win in seven games. Socorro Tagaro III was an unstoppable force on offense as he tallied 37 points to go with five rebounds and two steals.

Kim Lao-ay was just as crucial for PMI as he pumped in 21 points, while Christian Abragan added 12.

Catalino Parker scored 32 points for MDC, which fell to 3-5. (JNP)
