BUREAU of Customs (BOC) Northern Mindanao district ranked second in revenue collections among the 17 district offices in the country, BOC District Collector John Simon said Tuesday afternoon, October 29.
Simon said five of the 17 districts met their respective collection targets.
"Hirap na hirap sila mag collect, pero tayo hindi. Why? Because the people of Misamis Oriental are very cooperative dito sa ating kampanya," Simon said.
"Even though maraming hulihan dito, hindi nakaapekto sa collection natin sapagkat nakita nila hindi pupwede sa Bureau of Customs ang mga tarantado sa ating lipunan. Dito po, lahat tayo ginagawa natin ng paraan para ayusin ang pamamahala ng ating gobyerno," he added.
Simon also assured that the BOC district of Northern Mindanao will continue its intensified, efficient and quality service.
