RTA devises special traffic scheme for Undas

THE Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) will implement a special traffic scheme during the observance of All Saints' and All Souls' Days, from October 31 to November 2.

The special traffic scheme will be implemented on all roads leading to Bolonsiri Public Cemetery, Bulua Public Cemetery, Eternal Garden, Forest Lake Memorial Garden, Chinese Cemetery, and Oro Garden Memorial Park.

On the road leading to Bolonsiri, there will be no entry for all types of motor vehicles including trisikads, motorized sikads and tricabs.

A one-way traffic will also be implemented for all types of vehicles passing along the Camaman-an road from Hayes St. up to Tipolohon junction and on all roads leading towards the junction of Carmelite Church. A no parking policy will also be declared on these streets.

Motorelas plying Camaman-an route are only allowed to proceed up to Camaman-an-Bolonsiri road junction while multicabs plying the Camaman-an-Indahag route are allowed to pass the one-way road.

Only government and emergency vehicles are allowed to enter the cemetery premises.

A one-way traffic will also be implemented in Bulua Public Cemetery an Eternal Gardens, while all types of vehicles are not allowed to enter the cemeteries.

Meanwhile, there will be a no-parking policy in Forest Lake Memorial Garden, Chinese Cemetery, and Oro Garden Memorial Park.

The RTA said they adjustments to the traffic scheme will be made when necessary.
