ARAFURA Games 2019 triple gold medalist Ivo Nikolai Enot led Davao City's Holiday Gym Swim Club medal haul in the recently concluded 2019 PSI SC Grand Prix National Championships age group competition held at Trace College Aquatics Center in Laguna.

Enot, 13, of Colegio de San Ignacio, collected a total of four golds in boys 13-under 200-meter backstroke, 100m backstroke, 50m backstroke and 200m individual medley (IM) and three bronzes in 100m IM, 50m butterfly and 50m breastroke events.

"I was really happy about my performances in Grand Prix because I got four golds and three bronzes in my age-group and I also beat my times. I wasn't able to win a medal in the open finals but still, I was really happy with my performances," Enot told SunStar Davao via Facebook Wednesday, October 30.

Philip Adrian Sahagun, for his part, bagged one gold and three bronzes (1,500m freestyle, 200m IM, 400m freestyle) in the open finals after scooping one gold (boys 16-18 400m IM), three silvers (1,500m freestyle, 200m IM, 400m freestyle) and one bronze (200m backstroke) in the age-group contest.

Matthieu Adrien Tao, for his part, clinched two bronzes in boys 14-15 200m and 400m freestyle.

Joanna Kayla Gonzales also salvaged two bronzes in girls 14-15 200m freestyle and 100m freestyle for HGSC.

HGSC veteran coach Haroon Cali, in a separate chat, said: "Good swim halos tanan sila. Nagbabail ang swim time (They all performed well. They shortened their time)."

Ateneo Blue Knight Swim Club's Joshua Raphael del Rio, meanwhile, pocketed the boys 11 and over 400m freestyle gold in open finals, racing past Jaren Tan of Green Archers Swimming Club and Sahagun.
