BENEFIT Cheek Parade

When you have only a few minutes to look put together, a face palette is the way to go. Hoola, Hoola Lite and Rockateur are great not just for enhancing the cheeks, but are super easy to blend as well on the eyes. For that healthy flush, there’s Dandelion for a subtle hint of pink, or Galifornia for a shimmery coral glow.

L’Oreal Fine Flowers cleansing milk

I picked this up on a whim at Landers, not knowing anything or hearing about it before. I crossed my fingers that I would like this; even if it’s not expensive, it’s 400ml of product to use up without enjoying it, or pass on to someone else. I was happy that this works well to remove makeup, cleanse, and nourish just as it says. One pump is enough to melt off makeup as the first step of cleansing (like micellar water, but creamy and softens the skin), so this bottle will probably last me a year. Note that this has rose and jasmine extracts, so those who like floral scents will enjoy it, but those who dislike it will probably want steer clear.

The Body Shop shea lip butter

I’ve been a fan of The Body Shop’s body butters since I was a teen, but this is only the second little tub of lip butters from the brand that I’m on. I used up a Cherry tub and I’m now loving this one for use every night before bed. I highly recommend it for those with dry lips as the shea butter, vitamin E and beeswax in it are deeply hydrating. This helps my lips recover if I happened to use a drying lipstick that day.
