61 cops complete motorcycle riding course

SIXTY-ONE officers from the Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Luzon and Regional Highway Patrol Unit (RHPU) successfully completed recently the four-month course for mandatory safety training for all police motorcycle riders.

The motorcycle riding course was facilitated by the RHPU in Central Luzon.

PRO-Central Luzon Officer-in-Charge Police Brigadier General Leonardo Cesneros said the motorcycle riding safety course aims to ensure safety of officers in their operations.

"This motorcycle riding safety course is vital especially during operations in the highways. Our police personnel are now trained ensuring their safety, skills, and knowledge as riders while effectively improving their services," Cesneros said.

Among the graduates of the course are Police Colonel Nicolas D. Torre III, chief regional staff who headed the participants, and Police Major Emmeritus G. Nunag, officer-in-charge of RPIO and chief of SMAB/SRB, Regional Police Strategy Management Unit 3. (PR)
