3 spend ‘Kalag-Kalag’ in jail due to illegal drugs

THREE men spent All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days in jail after they were caught selling drugs in Barangay Tabunok, Talisay City on Nov. 1, 2019.

The suspects were identified as Mike Glenn Canillo, 33; Juvenson Alforque, 33; and Ferdinand Galeos, 35. They were arrested by police patroling in Sitio Mananga 2 on the night of All Saints’ Day.

A concerned citizen called the police station after he saw Canillo, Alforque and Galeos conduct illegal activities in the area.

The call came just as local police were patrolling in the area.

When police frisked the three men, they recovered eight small packs of suspected shabu from them.

Police officers who responded to the scene believed the three men bought the drugs from an unidentified pusher and were supposed to have a pot session at the cemetery.

Police are still trying to determine the identity of their supplier.

Police are also checking if the three suspects are on their watchlist or have previous records.

Canillo, Alforque and Galeos will spend the rest of the weekend in jail. They won’t be formally charged until Monday, Nov. 4. FROM FMD OF SUPERBALITA CEBU / JKV
