THE Class 93-led squad outplayed Class '99, 115-111 to capture the title in the recent Bacolod City National High School Alumni Basketball Tournament 2019 played at the Bacolod Arts Center.
Ten teams saw action in this tournament supervised by their president Jezel Cuchado, and treasurer Regima Cartagena.
During the finals, both teams played tough in more than 48 minutes of hardcourt action -- with several lead changes and deadlocks but, the Class 93-led backstopped by several players from Class 1990 and 1991.
The winning batch is composed of Jeffrey Pelayo, Arvin Gustilo, Blair Bracamonte, Eriel Guillem, Alex Querubin, Levi Jingco, Romel Yulo, Wilber Canlas, Edwin Mancera, Rodito Mendoza, Joel Debouzet, Renan Arevalo, Rodney Puyong, Rainier Suarez, Ryk Mirasol, and Constancio Debide.
This basketball event aimed to develop sportsmanship and camaraderie among the graduates of BCNHS. (PR)
