The University of the Visayas (UV) and the SHS-Ateneo de Cebu seek to earn spots in the national finals when they compete in the Visayas Regional Finals of the 34th Best Center SBP Passerelle Twin Tournament backed by Milo at the Pototan Astrodome in Iloilo City on November 9 and 10, 2019.

UV has some unfinished business to tend to in the Small Basketeers of the Philippines (SBP) division after finishing in second place to national champions La Salle Greenhills during the national finals last year. However, they must first hurdle a packed field led by the likes of St. John’s Institute of Bacolod, Hua Siong College of Iloilo and the Colegio da la Purisima Concepcion of Roxas.

Over in the Passerelle division, Ateneo de Cebu would be battling defending Visayas title-holder St. Robert's International Academy of Iloilo along with the University of Saint La Salle Bacolod and HERCOR College of Roxas.

The four teams of each division would be playing in a single round-robin classification phase. The top two teams would then clash for the Visayas regional championship and a ticket to the national finals

Now on its 34th season, the Best Center SBP Passerelle Twin Tournament backed by Milo is the country’s major tournament for the Under 15 and Under 12 age groups.

Among those who have played in this tournament include Manila-based Cebu products like RR Pogoy, Kris Porter, Paul Desiderio, Jun Manzo and more.
